I want to get my b/f GPS for christmas, would black friday sales be best?

Or should I start looking now. Also, I remember seeing them on sale around Christmas time last year, but I was wondering approx. what price one would run around Christmas when they go on sale. (just basic GPS, nothing too extravagant!!) Thanks!

I bought my Tom-Tom GPS from QVC. I had searched around last year (before Christmas) to find a good deal. QVC had the best price for the package of anyone. I bought the GPS, carrying case, AC and DC (car) adapters), car mount (to stick on the windshield), and all the accessories imaginable. And it was just over $200 (with tax and delivery).
The price has gone up a bit now (see link), but for everything it’s still a good deal. When I tried to buy one at Best Buy for my sister, the GPS alone was the same price as QVC’s package… so I just ordered online again.
I would definitely check QVC. I think you’ll be happy.
I would check on Ebay, craigslist, or Amazon. That will be a huge Black Friday sale, and be considered one of the items that will draw the most people, so it will be a huge fight to actually get one. Especially if you get it soon, it will be less expensive than closer to Christmas.
